Towards the end of pregnancy, new anxieties arise about the baby’s delivery. For the majority, the onset of labor usually leads to spontaneous delivery. Some women will however require help in delivering the baby, commonly referred to as ‘Assisted Vaginal Delivery’.

The term benign implies a mild and non-progressive disease. A tumor is an abnormal growth resulting from uncontrolled multiplication of cells, and serving no physiological function.

Almost every woman, and some men, will have reasons to seek for Gynecological care at some point. It’s important that the correct care gets offered, in a good facility and by the most competent Gynecologist.

Exposure to infectious diseases should generally be avoided if at all possible. This is more so in pregnancy as infectious diseases may pose complications both to the mother and her unborn baby. Chickenpox is one such infection, pregnant mothers should as much as possible avoid contact with anybody infected with chickenpox.

It’s now only days to the New Year 2013. As a tradition, many individuals review the past year’s events, and come up with a list of resolutions for the coming year. Towards the top of that list should be a firm resolution to lead a healthier life.
